I am a person who senses the innate value, beauty and inner light of the individuals I work with. I work in collaboration with clients, defining goals and reaching new levels of growth. I use interventions such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice, and have been trained in the Meadows Developmental Model.
My original career was in education, teaching science and Spanish. Midlife I realized the value of having a counselor, a person who could hold a space of positive unconditional regard and assist in personal growth and development. That is when I decided to become a therapist. I graduated from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work in 2006 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2008. I am an EMDRIA certified therapist in EMDR, am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), and presently am part of an IFS circle.

My hope is that my work will facilitate personal growth, restore balance, teach skills which improve
relationships, and assist in the healing of trauma and other disturbing life experiences.
